A creator with 500,000 followers asks $4,000 for a casino integration.

Follower count does not tell you whether the placement can recover $4,000.

You need to know who watches the creator, where those viewers live, whether they meet the legal age requirement, how many people see a normal post, and how much gambling intent the audience shows.

Then you can estimate the cost per first-time depositor before signing the deal.

Start With GEO and Age

A gambling campaign can fail before the creator records the integration.

Ask for audience analytics from the platform.

  • top countries and cities
  • age distribution
  • reach by recent content
  • device or platform data where relevant

For a market-specific casino offer, broad international reach can reduce the value of the placement.

A creator may have 200,000 average views while only 15% come from your target GEO. That turns 200,000 views into 30,000 relevant views before age and other filters.

Gambling promotions also need to comply with local advertising law and platform rules. Do not buy a placement when the creator cannot demonstrate a suitable adult audience for the target market.

Use Median Views Instead of the Best Post

Influencer media kits tend to feature strong examples.

Pull the last 10 to 20 comparable pieces of content and calculate the median reach.

  • pinned viral content
  • major collaborations that distort normal performance
  • unrelated formats
  • one-off news events

Suppose the last ten videos received 42k, 47k, 50k, 52k, 55k, 57k, 61k, 66k, 120k, and 400k views.

An average overstates the normal placement because two viral posts pull the number upward. A median gives you a better working baseline.

Check Whether the Audience Fits Gambling

Reach has limited value without product fit. Review the creator's content and comments.

A sports creator may fit a sportsbook offer. A slots streamer gives you direct gambling relevance. A general entertainment creator can still work, but you need stronger evidence that the audience responds to gaming or gambling products.

Look at previous commercial integrations.

  • betting
  • casino products
  • fantasy sports
  • gaming apps
  • financial products with similar acquisition friction

Ask for results where the creator or agency can share them. You want clicks, registrations, FTDs, or another commercial event. Screenshots of impressions alone cannot prove acquisition quality.

Inspect Engagement Quality

Engagement rate can help, but raw percentages need context. Read the comments.

  • repeated generic phrases
  • large blocks of identical comments
  • comments unrelated to the content
  • sudden changes in language or GEO
  • engagement spikes that appear on sponsored posts alone

Compare comments with views. A video with 100,000 views and 15 comments deserves more investigation than a video where the audience discusses the topic in detail.

Do not expect the same pattern across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitch, and Telegram. Each platform creates a different type of interaction.

Check View Stability

A creator who produces 60k to 80k views on most uploads gives you a more predictable forecast than a creator who swings between 5k and 500k.

Plot recent content. Look at:

  • median views
  • lower quartile
  • upper quartile
  • publishing frequency
  • sponsored-post performance

Sponsored content deserves special attention. Some audiences skip obvious integrations. A creator may average 100k organic views and 40k on sponsored content.

Use the sponsored baseline when pricing an advertisement.

Review Previous Gambling Integrations

Past gambling promotions answer several questions.

  • how often the creator promotes gambling brands
  • whether competing casinos appear in recent content
  • how the creator presents offers
  • whether links remain available
  • audience reaction
  • compliance with required disclosures

A feed packed with casino promotions can create offer fatigue.

Exclusivity also affects price. If you need the creator to avoid competing brands for a period, add that requirement to the negotiation before signing.

Forecast Clicks Before You Forecast FTDs

Build the funnel one stage at a time.

  • expected relevant views: 80,000
  • click rate: 1.5%
  • expected clicks: 1,200
  • registration rate: 12%
  • expected registrations: 144
  • FTD rate: 20%
  • expected FTDs: about 29

If your target acquisition cost is $100 per FTD, those 29 FTDs support around $2,900 in media cost.

That does not guarantee a result. It gives you a price ceiling based on your assumptions.

Change the assumptions to create a conservative case. For example, cut the expected click rate or FTD rate and calculate the downside.

Set a Maximum Integration Price

Maximum media cost = Expected FTDs x Target FTD CPA

If you expect 18 FTDs and can pay $130 for each one:

18 x $130 = $2,340

Paying $4,000 requires another reason, such as stronger expected player value or a strategic branding goal.

RevShare needs a different calculation. Estimate expected player NGR and your commission over a chosen period.

Avoid treating lifetime value as guaranteed revenue. Use cohort history from similar traffic where possible.

Choose the Payment Model

Flat fee

You pay a fixed amount. This model works when you trust the creator's data and have enough historical information to price the risk.

CPA

You pay for a qualified acquisition such as an FTD. The creator takes more performance risk.

Some creators refuse pure performance deals because they do not control the landing page, KYC, cashier, or operator conversion.

Hybrid

Combine a smaller fixed payment with performance compensation. This can align incentives without pushing all conversion risk onto one side.

The contract should define the conversion event, attribution period, excluded traffic, payment timing, and reporting source.

Use Trackable Links and Codes

Each creator needs a unique tracking path.

  • unique affiliate links
  • campaign IDs
  • creator-specific promo codes where supported
  • landing pages tagged for the placement

A promo code alone can miss users who click without entering it. A link alone can miss users who see the content and return through another channel.

Compare both signals when the operator can provide them.

Give the Creator a Brief That Protects Conversion

The brief should contain the facts the creator needs.

  • product name
  • target GEO
  • legal-age requirements
  • approved offer wording
  • key product features
  • prohibited claims
  • tracking link
  • disclosure requirements
  • publication date
  • content approval process if required

Leave room for the creator's voice. A script that sounds like a casino banner can destroy the trust you paid to access.

Measure More Than Day-One FTDs

Some influencer campaigns convert after the initial publication window.

  • views over time
  • clicks
  • registrations
  • FTDs
  • average first deposit
  • repeat deposit behavior where available

Compare creators by cohort.

Creator A may send more FTDs at a higher acquisition cost while producing stronger player value. Creator B may generate cheap sign-ups and weak deposit activity.

The affiliate model decides which result pays.

Red Flags Before Purchase

  • audience GEO does not match the offer
  • the creator refuses to provide native analytics
  • sponsored content receives much weaker reach
  • follower growth contains unexplained spikes
  • comments look automated
  • recent posts contain many competing casino integrations
  • the creator promises a fixed number of deposits
  • the creator proposes targeting an audience that does not meet legal age requirements

One red flag may have an explanation. Several red flags make the forecast unreliable.

Repeat placement decision

Add qualitative notes about communication, deadlines, compliance, and content quality.

Your second influencer purchase should use more information than your first. After ten campaigns, you can build benchmarks by platform, GEO, creator size, and content format.

That database becomes more valuable than follower count.
